Por Los Niños is a work of Family Life Missions (FLM) based in Honduras, one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere. It consists of a campus with safe and clean homes for our children, an elementary school, and loving houseparents devoted to raising, teaching and nourishing Honduran Christian leaders. In a country where 80% of the population lives without clean water, and 83% receive no more than a third grade education, the village is an example of hope and the transformative power of Christ’s love.

Since 1992, this Honduras mission has grown and changed, but one thing remains constant: this is a work of love. If you are interested in sponsoring a child, joining a work team, or have any questions about our work in Honduras, we invite you to contact us.

Our Mission is:

1. To teach the children the love of God.
2. To provide a Christian home environment where children will become spiritually, psychologically, and physically healthy.
3. To provide educational and vocational opportunities to the children so they will become productive, Christian, citizens of Honduras.

We want to give the children of Por Los Niños Children’s Home more than food. All of our house parents are native Honduran Christians who love God. They provide an environment of love and nurturing so the children can grow into the best they can be. We have an on-site Christian school and a beautiful school building that serves as a proper learning environment.

Our goal is for the children to strive to be model citizens of Honduras that enrich the cities and towns in which they live and one day make their own families.
