Marcos is a sweetheart. He is quiet, but loves to play and laugh. He helps Edgar take care of the chickens. Marcos enjoys riding his bike.

Bio

Marcos and his sister, Luz, came to Por Los Niños from the mountains.  They had a tough life there.  They lived with their father, who was 72, and their mother who was not able to care for them because of her mental instability. They all lived in a structure that looked like a chicken coop.  There was no electricity, no indoor plumbing, no running water and no beds for any of them to sleep on. Marcos had never left the mountains before he came to live at Por Los Niños.

When he joined Por Los Niños, Marcos suffered from parasites and malnutrition. He was very quiet and had a hard time adjusting to his new home. With time, Marcos adjusted well and now he is a happy and confident boy.

Marcos is the kind of kid with which you want your own children to be friends. He is considerate, helpful and respectful.
