Dr. Jim serves as the Executive Director of Childhaven, Inc, in Cullman, AL.

He has been with Childhaven since 1993. His previous work experiences include: serving as Senior Minister, Woodstock Church of Christ in Georgia; Senior Minister, North Central Church of Christ, Indianapolis, IN; Minister, Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ, Ashland City, TN; Counselor, Limited Private Practice. Jim has many professional qualifications, includingbeing a member and former member of several boards, clubs, committees, and associations. Furthermore, Jim often speaks widely on child welfare issues and is active in short-term missions around the world. Jim is an active elder of the Cullman Church of Christ. He and wife, Deborah, were married in 1973 and have three children.
